As a training practice we take in third year and fifth year medical students each year.
Training future clinicians is clearly crucial for the NHS and we are pleased to contribute to this as a GP Practice. One of the most valuable parts of their training involves sitting in with clinicians whilst they are consulting with patients.
We are very grateful to all our patients who agree to have a student attending their consultation, but of course we understand if a patient feels uncomfortable with this. The clinician will always ask the patient’s permission first.
